I am going to Peru next week all the way from dubai. I speak basic to moderate Spanish I have many friends in Cusco which is where I’m headed but none in Lima. Is it safe to explore on my own ? I’m going to be mindful of my things, so I’ll use a fanny pack for my belongings, and won’t use my phone in public But yes, I’ll be on my own, using uber to move around.
