my partner and I are planning to explore some of Peru on motorbike to find a town to live in for a few months. originally we wanted to go Pucallpa > Junín and La Merced, but it appears that that's a very dangerous region. I suggested the alternative of Cajamarca, Chachapoyas, and Tarapoto. ideally we want somewhere green, peaceful, beautiful. I loved traveling between Pucallpa and Huánuco, especially around Tingo Maria. Thoughts?
