I landed in Lima a couple days ago and caught the press conference with Marco Rubio where Keiko announced Peru joining the Shield of the Americas. She said it clearly, she declares war on all the criminals and all the terrorists in Peru. I want to know what you actually think when you hear that. As Peruvians, we all have our opinions on where she stands politically and personally. She has promised the same iron fist methods her father has shown however, because of the lies of the past presidents, it can be difficult to believe her. She's the ninth president in the last decade. Every single one before her promised something similar and it never actually happened. So my question is genuine. When she says this, do you believe her, or have you heard this too many times already to take it seriously? I know her being the daughter of Alberto Fujimori shapes a lot of people's opinion of her one way or the other. I'm curious if that's something that shapes your trust towards her, or if the past and her background is something that you find unconvincing completely. If you are a Peruvian, American or both, I would genuinely like to hear your thoughts .. because she has just come on board as President and her role has been very active and controversial in some aspects however it could be too early to say wether or not she is actually doing what she says she is going to do. So my question is ... Do you believe her? What's your opinion on her decision to join the US in the war on crime?
