Hi! My husband, mom, and I will be traveling to Peru in January with a 1 year old and a 2 year old. We’re spending time in Cusco, Lima, and possibly Trujillo. I’ve been to Cusco and Lima several times before, but never Trujillo. I’ve seen mixed reviews on the safety of Trujillo and am a little wary given my children. Should we go or change plans? I’ve also been to Iquitos, Ica, Arequipa, and Puno before and was hoping to visit a new city this time.
