Hi, I’ll be staying in a lodge in the Amazon for 3 nights with 2 full + 2 half days of touring. We’ll then be spending 1 night at the Hilton in the city before returning to Lima. Clothing & Mosquitos I’ve been told to pack long pants and shirts for jungle tours and am wondering how many I’ll need. I’m unlikely to wear these sorts of things again, so don’t want to go overboard. Also, how problematic are Mosquitos in late September/early October. I’ve read some reports that deet isn’t enough to Keep them at bay and that we should also treat our clothing. If anyone has been there recently, I’m keen to hear your thoughts. Restaurants We’ll have time for dinner in Iquitos. Any recommendations are welcome. Also keen to know if there’s any must sees or things to avoid in the city. Thanks for your time!
