Any particular reason why Lima has so many small parks?
I’m a bit of a Google Maps geek, and I have to say I’ve never seen a city anywhere in the world with so many small parks dotted around it as Lima. Is there a particular reason why Lima has so many of them? Was there a specific urban planning strategy, a historical movement, or perhaps a person who strongly advocated for this kind of design? I just find it really interesting.
