Been in Peru for about a month now after visiting Cusco, Sacred Valley and now in Arequipa. I've very much loved the food, sites and warmness of people when conversing, but one question in my mind keeps coming up so I wanted to ask, is it purely a cultural norm that people in Peru seem generally less considerate of others in day to day situations? I use some examples: walking on footpaths where locals seem to not giveway or give any space and take up the whole footpath (walking 2 or 3 wide) and expect people to step off onto the road/very much get out of their way. Number 2: fast food service seems poor - long wait times to order food at kiosks without being acknowledged and pizzas being delivered cold because they've done multiple other drop offs for 30-40mins after saying "it's on its way". 3. Inconsiderate noise levels in apartments - tend to play loud music at random times during all hours of the day and 4. Poor regard for pedestrians by drivers and not giving willing to giveway at clearly marked zebra/crosswalks. Are these just stand alone experiences or something cultural that people can speak to/well known about?
