If you had to recommend one place to someone who wants to become a professional musician, which would it be, and why? I'm especially trying to understand: Which public universities or conservatories are genuinely respected by Peruvian musicians? Which cities have the strongest music community outside the classroom? Which schools have strong composition, performance, production, or Peruvian traditional music? Do international students actually get accepted? How does the admission process usually work for foreigners? Are there scholarships or affordable tuition for international students? Is the city affordable enough for a student to live there? I'd really appreciate recommendations based on experience rather than rankings.
